MarketingSherpa releases a new chart:  Email marketing metrics tracked by percentage of organization.   'Clickthrough rate' as a measurement replaces 'Open rate' by a couple percentage points.   Most respondents think the 'Open rate' is under-reported if recipients are blocking images.  Ultimately, revenue per email is the strongest measurement.

Successful businesses are based on speed. Functioning in real time. Near instant delivering of product, service, or message. Now private companies like Bloomberg, Politico, and TMZ are the quickest with financial, political, or entertainment news. The traditional news services of the printed page and the television evening news are disappearing.


In the public sector, the delivery of emergency services has always requied speed. However, when union costs and revenue shortfalls required cutbacks alternative solutions were required. Deserted property owners and businesses sought private protection and home owners became self-reliant. Building and fire codes were increased and environmental architectual design began to encompass crime prevention. The use of cameras, sophisticated alarm systems, private gun ownership, and home medical services have exploded to increase the speed of prevention, protection, or suppression.


But no venture or public service today requires speed more than Marketing, Public Relations, and consumer/voter/client/customer communications. The Ecommerce Kingdom is about reaching those markets and those clients quickly and efficiently.
